    10th Annual Techno Trot

    5k Run/Walk and ½ Mile Kids’ Race!

    Race Bib and goody bag pick up is onsite the day of the race from 8:00 - 8:45 a.m.
     *separate service fee to register online*
    *$100 cash prize to the first place overall male and female finisher
    *Omni Salon Gift Card to the 2nd place overall male and female finisher
    *$100 cash prize to runner who breaks the overall male/female course records (one per male and female)
    *raffle table

    *race t-shirts to those who register by April 15



    Entry Fee:

    Registration: 5K ~ $20 (13+)  $15 (12 and under)
                             Kids 1/2 Mile (12 and under) ~ $15

                          Day of race: $25/$20


    Race T-Shirt:

    Guaranteed to all who register prior to April 15, 2019



    Start and finish will be at Westfield School, 2309 9thStreet, Winthrop Harbor, IL 60096. There is plenty of free parking and restrooms at the run site.


    Check-In Time:

    Saturday, May 4, 2019, 8 a.m. – 8:40 a.m.

    Kids race starts immediately before the start of the 5K at 8:45 a.m.


    Refreshments and First Aid Station:

    Will be provided!



    The 5K will be on paved city streets and on a paved trek through the park. Electronic/chip timing equipment will be used in the 5K. The kids’ ½ mile will NOT be timed.  Kids race is for ages 12 & under, though they may choose the 5K if they wish.


    Age/Award Divisions:

    Male and Female/ 10 & under, 11-13, 14-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65 and over



    Medals are awarded to the male and female finishers in each age group (1st, 2nd, 3rdplace); no duplications. All kids in the ½ mile race will receive a ribbon.  A trophy will be awarded to the overall male and female winner.
